The SKYCITY Adelaide Casino is a sight to behold. Located in the iconic railway station building on North Terrace in the heart of the city, it is South Australia’s only casino complex and it aims to please its customers on all fronts.

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week (closed only on Christmas Day and Good Friday), Adelaide Casino is an impressive gaming destination, spanning four floors that incorporate restaurants, bars and an excellent array of games.

The restaurants and bars offer a wide choice for food and beverages that caters to all tastes. For those seeking refinement, their signature North restaurant serves some excellent dishes from their contemporary menu and presents South Australia’s most impressive wine wall, while the Chandelier Bar is great for cocktails and tapas. The Grandstand Bar is the place to go for sports fans as its many screens bring you the latest live sporting action, whilst the Balcony Bar has regular live music and entertainment.

To the games, and Adelaide Casino houses over 1000 gaming machines, has as good a range of table games as you’ll find in any casino outside of Vegas (including Mississippi Stud, Caribbean Stud, Baccarat and many more) and has a dedicated Poker Zone. The Poker Zone is open from 6pm until 3.30am Tuesday to Thursday and 6pm to 5.30am on Friday and Saturday, and has both cash and tournament games available. The most common games played in the Zone are of the no limit Texas Hold ‘em variety, though they also have Omaha and Manila options, with the buy-in range being from $40-$200.

Sitting as it does above the railway station, visitors coming by train will have no worries. There are numerous buses that terminate just 100m away on King William Street, while the tram (running from Glenelg to the city) terminates opposite the casino. For those visiting by car, there is a valet parking service available (complimentary for members who have earned sufficient qualifying points) and there are many car parks in the vicinity that are not too pricey ($19 for 24 hours).
